finally! yarn, baseball, and the countdown

I'm watching the baseball game - I think the guys have come back from where ever they were, as it's 11-1 mid 7th, we're up on Detroit! w00t!

We have 28 day, 2 hours, and 35 minutes to HBP. 4 weeks. Double w00t!!

I have yarn! *cue gasps* Yes, I actually took pictures of them, too.

The haul over the last 6 weeks:

• 1 100g ball Yarn Bee "Walk Away Sock Yarn" (70% superwash wool, 23% polyamide, 7% PBT) in colorway Pettitoes (black, charcoal, steel grey, light grey)
• 1 100g hank FireLizard Studios "Joy" (80% superwash merino, 20% nylon) in colorway Stargazing (deep gold, navy, indigo, amethyst, rust) #2
• 1 100g hank FireLizard Studios "Joy" (80% superwash merino, 20% nylon) in colorway Love (deep gold, rust, burgundy, amethyst, brick red) #2
• 2 50g balls Premier Yarns "Serenity Sock Weight" (50% superwash merino, 25% bamboo, 25% nylon) in colorway Aquamarine (indigo blue, sky blue, fern green, olive, leaf green, white)
• 1 4oz ball Baby Bee "Sweet Delight Pomp" (54% acrylic, 36% polyamide, 10% rayon) in colorway Crayons (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, teal, amethyst)
• 1 4oz hank Dragonfly Fibers "Sea Sock" (70% superwash merino, 30% sea cell) in colorway Flaming Lips (lipstick red, hot pink, medium red)
• 1 100g hank Dyeabolical "Sporty! Sport Weight" (100% superwash merino) in colorway Firefly (black, bright red, orange, sunshine yellow)

Another chapter of After the End is up on the RSS feed, for those of you who are listening to it. Make sure you 'restore all items', as one part of Chapter 27 was backdated.

That's all I'm gonna post about right now - been feeling rather ill all day, and need to do some stuff over on PFW. Oh! I've been installed as Head of Ravenclaw House over on the PFW forum! I'm a tad surprised and very flattered by the appointment. :)

sorry, long time to post

Hi everyone! I'm still with you all, I've just been busy and/or not motivated to post. Sorry about that.

I just ran across this article about a town hall meeting today:

We have just over 33 days until HBP open in theatres - *flails* - and I haven't been able to find out about the midnight show yet. NOTE TO SELF! Stop by the Regal @ The Mills on Monday. Some manager has to know if they will have the midnight show.

I've been totally sucked into Twitter, and am following such HP-related peeps such as DR (and his official site), Bonnie, Tom, Matt (and his buddy Chris 'Cuzzy'), as well as a whole range of other people - Cards fans, Mythbuster peeps (Grant and Adam), NPR feeds, wizard rockers, PFW, PotterCast, and SpellCast people, and so on. It's a lot of fun!!! Very addictive, as Kirstie Alley has discovered. She's extremely chatty, and has a mouth on her. Oi!

I have yarn from all over the place to review (it's sitting here in a pile, I swear), but I haven't had time to shoot it yet. Now that my head is on a little better, I may do that in the next day or so. Maybe Saturday evening. We'll see.
